PEFC
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
PEFC certification attests to PegPack’s commitment to responsible forest management according to internationally recognized standards. The wood used comes from sustainably managed forests, with respect for the environment, local communities, and future generations.
Independent external audits verify compliance with PEFC rules throughout the entire supply chain every year. Among the key principles: reforestation, forest inventory, protection of rare species, safeguarding of monumental forests, and accessibility of spaces. These best practices help preserve biodiversity, absorb CO2, and ensure the use of eco-friendly and traceable materials.

FITOK
SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE FOR WOODEN PACKAGING
FITOK certification guarantees that wooden packaging complies with the international FAO ISPM-15 regulation, which requires specific heat treatments of raw wood to eliminate harmful organisms such as fungi and insects, thus preventing the risk of environmental contamination.
Once treated, the packaging is marked according to the IPPC/FAO standard, with an identifying symbol that includes the code of the country, region, and company responsible for the treatment. The FITOK mark, recognized globally, allows the free circulation of wooden packaging beyond European borders, facilitating export through international customs and ports.
